BACON!

I’ve found a new way to save bacon thanks to America’s Test Kitchen.   
Roll it.  Freeze it.
Take a slice of bacon, roll it up, and set it on a plate or cookie sheet in the freezer.  After about 30 minutes take the bacon roll out of the freezer and place in a ziploc bag.  Store in freezer.
When you are ready for a slice of bacon, just grab out the number of slices you want, set them on a plate and microwave for 30 seconds.  Then you can unroll the slices and cook them like normal.
Wow!  This is such a brilliant tip.  It has this saved us time and bacon.  It’s super convenient, which I am all for.  I think we freeze just about anything we can now a days…especially meats and veggies.
