Sesame Noodles

So good!  This is a new favorite recipe and a quick one too!  I want some right now!
I only had to buy one thing to make this: sesame oil.  It was a little expensive (about $3), but a little goes a long way.  Since we are definitely going to be making this again it was worth every penny.

Sesame Noodles
serves: 2  (if you cook extra noodles there is still plenty of sauce, so you could squeeze out a third serving or just an extra serving for yourself!)
printer friendly version
6 oz of spaghetti noodles
2 tablespoons of soy sauce
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1 tablespoon of red wine vinegar (or rice vinegar)
1 1/2 tablespoons of sesame oil
a pinch of cayenne pepper
2 tablespoon of canola oil
1 tablespoon of hot water
2 green onions, sliced thin
optional garnish (toasted chopped walnuts or shrimp)

Cook the noodles according to the package directions.  Whisk all the ingredients together except the green onions or other garnishes.  Pour sauce over warm noodles and toss to coat.  Sprinkle green onions (or anything else you desire) over the top.  Serve!
